Hera’s World In A Pinch

My love of cooking started as a creative outlet after my son was born and I discovered myself trying to make everything (very annoyingly) from scratch. Yes, I was THAT Mom. The science and art of baking and cooking was facinating to me. The simplicity of it was shocking for a novice like myself!  

I have many trusted food critics that currently test my recipes. All different ages and all have a different palette. They just happen to also be my family and friends!

I drive my inspiration from two modest yet extremely talented executive chefs (my parents), my love of reading cookbooks and for the sheer fun of it. I myself, am not a chef but sometimes when I step into the kitchen, something magical does happen.

I am glad you will be joining me on my journey. I do speak through light hearted fun, a touch of sarcasm, observations, fun facts and loads of pop culture. As an example when I mention the death ray machine, its your microwave!
